If something went wrong, we want to know. This page explains how to raise a concern about this website or about a provider you were connected with through it.
Complaints about this website or our service
Use the contact form and write "Complaint" in the message. Include the date, the city, and what happened. We aim to acknowledge complaints within a few business days and tell you what we will do about them.
Complaints about a provider
Roof Repair Wichita doesn't perform the work, so disputes about pricing, workmanship, scheduling, or damage are between you and the provider, under your agreement with it. We still want to hear about it:
- Contact the provider first. Put your concern in writing and keep copies of estimates, contracts, invoices, photos, and messages.
- Tell us. Let us know which provider it was and what happened. We look into concerns and may stop sending requests to providers who don't treat homeowners fairly.
- Use official channels if needed.
- Roofer registration and deceptive practices: the Kansas Attorney General enforces the Kansas Roofing Registration Act and the Kansas Consumer Protection Act. Check registrations in the roofing registration directory and file a complaint through the Attorney General consumer complaint form.
- Sedgwick County: if you and the business are both in Sedgwick County, the Attorney General may refer you to the Sedgwick County District Attorney Consumer Protection Division.
- Insurance questions: the Kansas Insurance Department helps consumers with insurer and claim problems.
- Permits and local contractor licensing: in Wichita and unincorporated Sedgwick County, contact MABCD. Other cities have their own building offices.
- Emergencies: for anything unsafe, call 911 or your utility.
